The Guest

I was given this poem recently - and what a gift.I think of it when an emotion seizes me that I don’t necessarily want to entertain.
I have found it difficult to accept all the many sides of me, especially when they’re flung in my face during an emotional dialogue.
I am learning to accept all the different angles, to invite them all in and to love all of me, not only the easiest parts. The sweet parts that I see
reflected in my children and the bad parts too that chafe and ache like a thorn in my side - a constant reminder that I have a long long way to go on this journey of mine.

Success you see isn’t…

A friend and I visited the kind of place I wish I owned - an eclectic mix of theatrical costumes, wrought iron treasure and brick-a brac with a coffee shop thrown in - called “Pajamas and Jam” in Somerset West Capetown.
The food was delicious and a visual feast - the kind of things that excite me, were littered everywhere(tutu’s, bunting, serviettes, delicious cakes, an old antique stamp…”.

I’d rather love just a little too much

My new obsession is “A Little Too Much” by Natasha Beddingfield.
I keep playing it over and over and over again, can’t get enough.
I can so relate, on so many levels – with so many relationships.
I particularly love this song because it’s a theme of mine – love totally or not at all.
Balls to the wall – crash and burn!

“It’s wonderful to fall, let’s love and risk it all
I’d rather love just a little too much”

I saw an Iridologist on Friday
The revelations (emotional) were startling, had to swallow back the tears.
“…indicates you had an absent father figure – could be emotional or physical…”
“…indicates you feel a sense of isolation or Loneliness…”,
“Indicates you give away too much of yourself away to others…” WOW!
Here are the lyrics – enjoy….

Natasha Beddingfield – Little too much

Sometimes it hits like car crash
And it’s too late to reverse
Sometimes you make me a better person
Sometimes you bring out the worst
Sometimes we get on like fire

I Love Paris(pt 3)

The tale continues….

I was in the midst of a sunami of bustling bodies and trafficking people, all intent on a direction. I joined the throngs and eagerly moved in the direction stopping occasionally to make sure that I was going in the right direction.

In search of….

Searching for Inspiration
So I am on a visual quest to search for interesting logos and designs and there is no shortage.
So much so that I sometimes feel over stimulated and exhausted – it’s visual gluttony!
Each design is just as beautiful as the next with totally different styles!
Here are some of my favourite from: http://www.thedieline.com/!
